This programme was written by Irwin Scollar of the Unkelbach Valley Software Works, Remagen, Germany in the autumn of 2005.
CastCor is
available without charge via Internet download. It is distributed under
the GNU license with the following restrictions:
It is written in
Borland's Delphi 7 and requires the open sourceTurbo Power Software
SysTools library available from Source Forge and the VCL imaging
tools available from Hicomponents at www.hicomponents.com
at a modest charge. The central algorithm used for automatic color
enhancement (ACE) is from the Hicomponents suite based on the work of
Rizzi et al. as are the algorithms for automatic white and gray point
correction. The source code for the programme is available on request
for those who can furnish proof that they have an active license for
the source code of the Hicomponents suite and a license for Borland's
Delphi 7 Professional or higher.
